Welcome to my journey.

I began my photography path at a very early age. I first pushed a shutter button around the age 4, and photography has been with me ever since. In all moments of my life, a camera is a constant companion. In high school I attended a technical school and joined the core area of Commercial Art (Graphic Design today)...and photography was a required class for three years. When I joined the Marines, buying a camera was one of my first post exchange purchases. Attending Drake University for Art Education, a class in photography was required. When I became president of the Des Moines Astronomical Society, taking images of the night sky was my passion. Pursuing my career teaching art at all grade levels, I was continually taking pictures of student artwork, and had the joy of teaching photography at the high school level for six years. Photography has always been with me...and will be with me till the end.
